some unique views of Delicate Arch in Arches National Park
The first time that I visited Delicate Arch I did it as an afterthought, let’s see the tourist horde. Well, I was so impressed with what I saw that the next time I was in the area I decided to get there very early and explore all around it.
The guys you see on the left is where the entrance from the normal trailhead is. There is a backdoor that will take you to this view.
From the previous image you can see a bowl to the left that you climb down to. This is take from that bowl.
And I kept walking until I was on the other side. Careful, there is not that much space there.
This was taken from an elevated location; I want to point out to the lower right the “bowl” that I was referring to in the previous images.
How close Delicate Arch is to the precipice.
This one perfectly illustrates that this is a hollowed out rock.
