My Hiking Adventures

Hi !!! My name is Carlos.

I am a solo hiker that loves to take nice pictures. I live in the Chicago suburbs and I spend most of my vacation days hiking in National Park and BLM land in the United States: Montana, Utah, Arizona, Washington, New Mexico, Alaska, and Idaho.

I started hiking back in the summer of 2010, using a Nikon D7500 camera .... I upgraded to a Nikon D7500. I have learned to use many manual features of the camera and I shoot in RAW and process my images now in ON1 Photo Raw.

Most of my hikes are long day hikes, but recently I got the backpacking bug and now that is in the mix.
